I just went to the Post Office to apply for a clearance to work with children and had to have my photo taken. While she was taking it the girl goes to me, 'try not to look like a paedophile'! Then she prints them out, shows them to me and says, 'see i told you that you looked like a paedophile!' Nice.

But i'm thinking about the weekend already. Gonna be a real busy one on Friday, lots of things happening, but i'll be ending up at The Espy for Terra Firma's album launch where we're supporting if you're about.

THE WEEKEND

Spent Friday night in Brisbane for a show and didnt wanna leave Saturday, the weather was sooo good up there! Then back to Melbourne Saturday for a rooftop barby in St Kilda and then on to the corner for Pegz's show. Got totally trollied and couldnt actually make it to Favela which was annoying, but probably for the best!

My bredrin Siren hit me up with a few pics last night. He's spent the last couple of years painting murals in the Favela's of South America for whatever local gangster he comes across and then had the random idea to buy a tattoo gun! I offered to let him try it out on me when he visited Melbourne not that long ago, but he prefered the pig skins...anyway, here's a couple shots, not bad at all for a few months practice.

SILLY SEASON

I'm sure i'm not the only one to notice Xmas stuff in the shops already. Why do they do this, who's buying decorations now, seriously! Although it did remind me its holiday season real soon and this will be my first one on my own with no fam, so all invites appreciated or i'm ending up at the soup kitchen!

This will be my fourth Xmas in Oz and to be honest they never feel like they do back home anyway, just cant get over the lack of cold weather and Only Fools and Horses Specials.

Although New Years is a lot more fun over here. Back home usually ends up at the crap house party of someone who you hate or at the local getting competely ripped off. I'm sure i'll be blagging my into Hot BBQ this year, went last time and had a heavy time. But keep a look out for a possible Wobble warehouse party on NYE itself. It it gets pulled off then its sure to be live-o!

SATURDAY, WHERE ARE YOU?

How good was the weather on Saturday. Despite drinking until 7am on Friday, my initial feeling of dread when I woke swiftly switched up after a few minutes under my good friend the sun. Beers never tasted so sweet while people watching and catching jokes on the drunk tarted up Carnival attendee's.

On another note we saw the most unbelievable Steven Tyler look-a-like in Section 8 in the afternoon, wish i'd managed to get a photo.

Hit up Flagstaff gardens after to throw sticks at each other. My flicking game is way strong! Copped a branch on the bollies tho, not a good look.

If you missed Wobble in the evening, you missed a banger once again. Big up Eden for consistently putting on one of the funnest nights. I dont think I even got that drunk! I do remember however being mistaken for Solomon Klepto (for about the 5th time, he's greek for fucks sake!), and Fletchrock which was a new one for me. Maybe I need to grow my hair.

Very fun weekend, all been destroyed this morning however by my dentist, so much anaesthetic my face is swollen like Stallone in Rocky and a $600 bill. Cheers.

I have a hate / hate relationship with dentists, especially in this country where they charge you an arm and a leg! I've been putting off getting some stuff for a while now while i spend the money on trainers instead, but i think the time's finally come. Eating an apple this morning i've got a piece wedged into the gum where he removed a tooth not long ago and it FUCKING HURTS! Called them up wanting to run down there now to get it out and finish off the rest of the shit and he cant fit me in til Tuesday! So i gotta wait ages to get raped of more money and will have to spend the weekend dabbing yayo and brandy on my tooth while popping vast amounts of codeine! This time next week i will be broke guaranteed.

CHIPPY WINS A MOBO (apparently)

The rumour is that Chipmunk won a mobo a couple hours ago over in London which is sure to expand his ever increasing ego further. Nothings been released yet but obviously someone got on the blower from inside the ceremony. We all know the Mobo's are bullshit, but its still a good look for the youngster. GGGRRRRRR! No patience whatsoever today. Three things that really piss me off generally, but even more so today.

1) Unnecessary small talk - you're stuck in a lift with someone, its 1pm and you're holding a Nando's bag and the person says to you, 'lunch eh?'!!! What the fuck you think it is? Then they follow it up, 'wish it was Friday? Oh well, not long to go now'. You say the same thing to me everyday!

2) You've already pressed the button to cross the road or for the lift, the lights on, and someone walks up and presses it again! Dunno why this gets me, but it infuriates me so much!

3) The same girl at Nando's on Little Bourke Street every time i go there! I ask for the burger meal (i always make a point of stressing, 'the meal' and point to it as opposed to just the burger), without fail each and every time she asks me if i want fries with that!? Every time i reply, 'yes the meal like i said' and point to it on the menu again to which she replies, 'do you want a drink with that?' at which point i feel to lean over the counter and pour peri peri sauce in her nostrils!

THREE WISHES

I need these ASAP. Feeling super rough today. The combination of all day beers, late night dumplings, special fried rice and the clocks going forward have left me reeling today. I wouldnt have drank so much if i'd turned up at Roc Raida a little later in the day, but unfortunately got duped into thinking it started at 3pm and not 8 or 9pm or whenever it was he rolled on. By that time i was mash up completely, as witnessed by Class A who received my elbow in her face! Sorry about that, my co-ordination was offkey by then. Shouts to the idiot who wanted to start a ruck with me 'cos i didn't offer the waiting girls the use of the urinal! By all means go for it ladies, would be interested to see how that worked out! It was a good day though, the sun was out, Mexi and Nathan played some bangers, i saw a lot of people i've not seen in a while, just wish it was on a Saturday so i could stay in bed today.
