Q) So what been happening in Cammo's world?

spending too much money on my bimma, skateboarding, bit of graf and laying lo in winter.

Q) You've been a big part of the burgeoning Melbourne dubstep scene, how's that been?

been good, plugging since 05 and since then weve had shit loads of international guest, local heads getting released on wax. n two new labels in sydney. scene is young but pushing hard, bout to blow any minute now

Q) You're also one of the very very few playing grime over here as well. Grime hasnt really caught on like the dubstep has, why do you think this is?

guess its a hip hop thing which took a while to blow up in oz, grime is too aggressive for this laid back town it will take a while to catch on. dubstep is safe n grabs you by its bass frequencies. grime has the bass and the lyrics. and its confrontation to most. i love it. and im getting heads into it

Q) What are your favourite things about Melbourne?

its diverse culture, weed and music

Q) So where can people catch you playing?

sydney void gig 4th july for a oz dubstep show case at phoenix, fridays at croft, sundays at the laundry and a new monthly uk hip hop/gime night with mexi at worshop starting 2nd august i think and any other gigs i can scram around town

Q) Who the best mang?

Eli’s still da best mang, marv-o’s a close second, definitely not fraksha

Q) You been real busy recently, whats been happening?

I’ve been saying that to avoid fraksha, but also been working on my remix album for grindin records

Q) So you signed to Obese just now yeah, whats the deal with that, what you planning on releasing on there?

We’re putting out 3 records, Phaze one (myself and Emilio rojas from ny) my Australian compilation and the m-phazes greatest hits compilation, which might be hard because every song I’ve ever done is a greatest hit, we may need to do a 4 cd pack, with no fraksha

Q) You just done a couple live shows yourself yeah? How you think they've gone done and for anyone who aint seen one whats the format?

I basically remixed a bunch of fassy'oles songs and got them to come up and perform them, throwing some beats and tracks I’ve done in between, they went well! Except for nine high, they ruined the whole night, well mainly fraksha

Q) When you off to NYC and whats the plan once you get there?

I go to the states in sept, for 2 months, my plan is make some good connections and hopefully get a deal, so I can leave Australia and get away from fraksha
