CARNIVAL '08

Three straight days of liver murkage ended with a wicked time at Carnival yesterday. Woke up Monday morning on a random one in a tent at a muddy Reading festival (no idea whose tent!), blagged a lift home, shower and off on the train. Got wasted, ate good food, saw no bad vibes and ended up skanking till close. Only annoying thing was the coppers blocking off whole area's which meant for a while you were locked in and couldnt get to where you wanted to get to.

Seems like the media love to have a go at Carnival and this year was no exception. I saw no drama's at all and yeah there seems to have been some trouble later on in the night, they could perhaps focus more on 95% of the time that went off without a hitch.

GOON + GOTHS

Two men have faced court over a violent assault which saw a group of goths bashed with a goon bag.

Luke Anthony Harrison, 21, and Mereki Ian Pryor, 19, were each sentenced to jail for the attack, which left five members of Brisbane's gothic community nursing cuts and bruises.

WOBBLE - 1ST BIRTHDAY

Last Saturday's Wobble was a belter as usual, good vibes, no aggyness, rammed crowd with loads of girls and the system was stoopid! I swear i was shaking anytime i went near a stack. Its definitely my favourite night to play at in Melbourne. Should have some photo's of the last one in the next couple of days...but anyway, next months is Wobble's 1st Birthday special so you know its gonna be xtra special. Its gonna be a mission for me as my plane lands from London earlier the same day, but i'm sure a few hours kip and some munch and i'll be raring.

Gonna be back in UK for the first time in two and a half years this weekend and its Carnival on Monday! I'm gonna be sooo messy!

GOODNESS GRACIOUS

You must have been listening to trance or something if you aint heard of M-Phazes. He's been putting in bare work which is starting to come to fruitition recently. After winning the One Stop Shop beat battle in Arizona which was judged by heavyweights such as Preemo, Swizz Beatz + 9th Wonder amongst others, he's now just released a remix album on Sydney based label Grindin featuring a host of people such as Skinnyman, Yungun, Blak Twang, Phat Kat, Scribe and plenty more. Its a sick release and just a taster of the vast amount of stoopid stuff he's got coming. He's off to the States in a couple weeks where i'm sure he's gonna land some heavy placements, big tings coming!

I AM STILL DRUNK

How on earth did we end up at Traffik in St Kilda of all places at 1am last night. Maybe it was the $3 basics!!! Yes, $3!!! This place must be a contender for seediest place in Melbourne. Somone's fat old dad behind the bar, a Grey St hooker for the door bitch who smelled like a Club X booth and the same fucking loop of songs every 15 minutes!

My head hurts, but i was celebrating some good news. Forgot to set my alarm too so rolled in to work late, but had a table full of party pies awaiting my arrival for breakfast. God bless party pies!

Man Almost Loses Penis Humping Steel Bench

Last night in Hong Kong, the police received a disturbing call from a man in trouble.

Xing, a 41 year-old man, was calling from LanTian park in the middle of the night. The lonely and disturbed man had apparently thought it would be fun to have sex with one of the steel sit-up benches around the park.

The bench has numerous small holes in it, which Xing used to attempt to satisfy himself. However, once he became aroused he found that he was stuck and could not get his penis out of the small hole.

He panicked and called the police to help him.
