Its make or break for Kano with this new album, 140grimestreet. He left the grime scene behind, now he's come back after some label issues and this is the first track of the new album. I wasnt keen on the track when it dropped, but actually really into it now with the video (altho the hooks still a bit bait). He's definitely been studying Jigga hard too...Kano video's are usually pretty smooth and this one's no exception

Glad i didnt grab tickets for the Dipset show a few nights ago 'cos they never showed up! Apparently a couple years ago Santana ripped off some promoters in London for 70K and hearing he was back in town they ran up in his hotel mob deep and took his shiny things. The rumour mill's gone into overdrive with people saying it was Megaman from So Solid and the word is a video will be appearing online over the next few days. Let's hope its more more entertaining than the Mike GLC / Game 'beef' video.

New video for Wiley's 'Summertime' joint. Tel me tho, why people always drop a tune and then dont follow it with the video for ages (see Skepta releasing 'Rolex Sweep' later this month for example!)! This should have been out a couple months back really. I like the video tho, on some Yo Mtv Raps / House Party flex. Tune's heavy too until the hook comes in, really should have left that well alone, but anyways i reckon it'll do pretty well.

ISLE OF MAN'DEM

I'm currently spending a few days with a mate on the Isle of Man, a tiny island inbetween the Liverpool and the Irish coast, known primarily for the treacherous TT motorbike Race where you're guaranteed a few deaths each year. This place is very very strange, on some Pagan shit. The shops are full of Fairies and weird looking Animal figurines and you feel that at any point someone's gonna ask us 'are you local?', 'cos we stand out like a sore thumb. They refer to people from the mainland as 'come-overs'.

We've renamed the place Wicker Island in reference to one of my favourite films 'The Wickerman'. If you've seen the film then you'll know exactly what this place is like. I wanted to go see if i could rent the film last night, but i would have probably ended up burning somewhere like Edward Woodward, so i've been content amusing myself with youtube clips from the film.
